Nissan Murano vs. Ford Explorer Review

There's no clear winner between the Ford Explorer and the Murano in terms of hauling capacity. Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the Ford Explorer over the Nissan Murano. The Ford Explorer outpulls the Nissan Murano by a large margin.

Dimensions
The Explorer is significantly more ponderous than the Murano. The Nissan's tank is approximately the same size as the Ford Explorer's, though the Ford Explorer's is somewhat larger. The Ford Explorer rides lower than the Murano, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The Nissan Murano and the Ford compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The Ford's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Nissan Murano.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Explorer to the dealership as the Nissan Murano. Producing an exact gas mileage evaluation is so tough that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Nissan Murano is the winner as far as gas mileage. Regarding gas mileage, the Nissan Murano beats the Ford Explorer. The Nissan isn't much less costly than the Ford Explorer when it comes to MSRP.

Handling
The Ford and the Nissan Murano have approximately comparable tires. With their similar turning radii, the Ford Explorer and the Nissan definitely handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Ford has a larger engine than the Nissan Murano. Note that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but smaller engines can be stressed more. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Ford Explorer is markedly more powerful than the Nissan Murano.
