Nissan Frontier vs. Honda Ridgeline Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Honda Ridgeline to the dealership as the Nissan Frontier. There really isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Ridgeline is slightly more economical than the Nissan Frontier. The Nissan Frontier is substantially less costly than the Honda Ridgeline as far as MSRP.

Utility
The Nissan Frontier and the Honda Ridgeline can accommodate the same number of passengers. The Honda Ridgeline is a better choice than the Frontier when it comes to transporting cargo, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of stuff or big animals. The Nissan Frontier outpulls the Ridgeline by a massive margin.

Convenience
You most certainly won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Nissan Frontier than with the Honda Ridgeline, because both offer comparable ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Honda Ridgeline offers a bit more head room than the Nissan, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Honda Ridgeline make it considerably more spacious for your passengers than the Nissan.

Dimensions
The Honda Ridgeline is substantially heavier than the Nissan Frontier. The Nissan Frontier's tank is almost the same size as the Honda Ridgeline's, though the Honda Ridgeline's is a little larger. The Nissan Frontier and the Honda Ridgeline compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Ridgeline and the Frontier most definitely handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Frontier's engine is substantially smaller than the Honda Ridgeline's. Keep in mind that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the flip side, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. The Frontier could learn a lesson or two from the Honda with respect to pickup. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Honda Ridgeline is significantly more powerful than the Nissan Frontier.

Warranty
The Ridgeline and the Frontier have the same basic after-sale protection.
