Nissan Overview:
Nissan made a big splash in 2009 with the racetrack-bred GT-R, sporty 370Z and unique, box-like Cube.  There aren’t any new models in 2010, just improvements to the existing fleet.

Speaking of the high-performance coupe, Nissan added more power to the GT-R with a 485-horsepower, 3.8-liter V-6 engine that can rocket from 0 to 60 in just 3.5 seconds. The GT-R also features a recalibrated dual-clutch transmission, improved brakes and suspension. After going through a 2009 redesign, Nissan gave the 370Z a brand new Roadster running mate that will accompany the more powerful NISMO (18 more horses) trim and fun 370Z convertible.

After breaking onto the scene last year, the box-like Cube remains unchanged in 2010.  The Cube is similar to the Scion xB and offers Nissan enthusiasts an entirely different look.

Nissan’s flagship sedan, the luxurious and powerful 2010 Maxima receives two new colors and swaps out iPod connectivity for a standard USB/aux port. The Maxima has plenty of power (290-horsepower), luxurious options and a well-equipped base model.  If the Maxima is too big, the smaller Altima is available in midsize sedan or sophisticated and sporty coupe. The Altima features a new hood, front bumper and grille, while stability control is now standard in all models.

If you like to save money on gas, then you will be drawn to the 2010 Altima Hybrid. Get an unbelievable 35 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway, while retaining classic Altima power and styling.

Nissan’s popular and economically sound compact sedan, the 2010 Sentra gets revised headlights and taillights on all models, while the 2.0, 2.0S and 2.0 SL receive redesigned grilles and front-end designs. The Sentra repeats Nissan’s fuel-efficient mantra with 21-26 mpg in the city and 28-34 mpg on the highway.  Entry-level buyers will be impressed by the inexpensive (and fuel-efficient Nissan Versa sedan or 5-door hatchback wagon, boasting an impressive amount of cargo room, revamped grille and interior fabrics.

Nissan’s Rogue compact SUV/crossover is great for those looking for the fuel economy of a sedan (21-22/26-27 city/highway mpg) and the utility of an SUV. If the Rogue isn’t powerful enough, the midsize crossover Murano SUV boasts a 265-horsepower, 3.5-liter v-6 and competes against the Ford Edge, Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander.

Nissan’s super-utility, off-road machine, the 2010 Xterra is as rugged as ever with roof-mounted off-road lights on the Off Road trim. The body-on-frame Pathfinder SUV features three rows of seats for up to seven passengers and a host of standard safety features. If the Xterra and the Pathfinder aren’t big enough for you, you should consider the gargantuan 2010 Armada and its two new trims: Titanium and Platinum.

Nissan’s only minivan – the Quest - allows you to transport the kids in style and comfort.

Nissan’s 2010 truck lineup continues with multiple versions of its compact Frontier pickup and its full-size Titan, which offers a powerful V-8 engine and excellent towing capacity.
