The 2013 LA Auto Show welcomed the redesigned 2014 Cadillac CTS sedan. The new CTS is larger in all dimensions than its predecessor to better compete with midsize luxury sedans like the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Though larger, the new CTS is 244 pounds lighter thanks to the extensive use of aluminum in its construction which improves fuel efficiency and performance. The CTS will offer three engine options, starting with a 272-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Up next is a 321-hp, 3.6-liter V-6, followed by a twin-turbo edition of the same engine that makes 420-hp and goes into V-Sport models.
The redesigned CTS is a very elegant yet sporty car. Its interior attractive and features a touch-screen infotainment system, called CUE, which can also be controlled by voice commands. It is also the first Cadillac to offer automatic parking assist and has the first pair of 20-way-adjustable front seats. It also comes with a Bose 11-speaker audio system. The new 2014 CTS was named Motor Trend's 2014 Car of the Year, and is a great choice for someone who enjoys a stylish and comfortable car, without sacrificing performance.
