2010 Mitsubishi Galant Overview
The 2010 Mitsubishi Galant is a great everyday car to fit all your needs—whether you’re tearing it up the track, taking out clients or transporting your family.

Offered in base ES, Sport Edition and premium Ralliart trim levels, the 2010 Mitsubishi Galant sporty midsize sedan is equipped with your choice of 2.4-liter inline-4 engines—one that produces 155 horsepower and another that puts out 160 horses. Both are mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with auto-manual shift. With the V-6 option now gone, EPA fuel economy ratings have increased to an impressive 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway—an improvement of 1/3 mpg respectively.

The 2010 Mitsubishi Galant faces the likes of Chevrolet Malibu, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry in the midsize sedan segment. The Galant’s front fascia features a wide grille and rectangular daytime running headlights with an auto-off function. The Ralliart sits on 18-inch wheels and a sport-tuned suspension. A power moonroof, alloy wheels, fog lights, rear spoiler and an alarm system are optional.

Inside, the 2010 Mitsubishi Galant seats up to five occupants in front bucket seats and a rear bench. An MP3 jack and air conditioning are standard features, while a navigation system with backup camera package, heated seats, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls and an auto-dimming rearview mirror can be had as options. Although the rear seat doesn’t fold down, a cargo pass-through provides increased room for longer items. An eight-speaker Rockford Acoustic Design premium audio system with a six-CD/MP3 changer and six months of prepaid SIRIUS Satellite Radio also is available.

As for safety, the 2010 Mitsubishi Galant is standard equipped with antilock brakes and a suite of airbags, including side impact for the front seats and side curtain. An electronic stability system is now offered as standard equipment.

The 2010 Mitsubishi Galant midsize sedan still performs capably and offers competitive fuel economy in its class.
