MINI Cooper vs. Chrysler Sebring Review

Neither the MINI Cooper nor the Sebring has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, the Chrysler Sebring packs quite a wallop and will knock the MINI Cooper down a few rungs. On the other hand, note that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Chrysler Sebring is tremendously more bulky than the MINI. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Chrysler than the MINI Cooper because of its bigger tank. The MINI Cooper fits in smaller parking spaces than the Chrysler Sebring. The MINI's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a nimbler feel in daily traffic than the Chrysler Sebring.

Convenience
You'll definitely take the Chrysler for a fill-up about as often as the Cooper.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the MINI Cooper to the dealership as the Chrysler Sebring. Producing an exact gas mileage evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the MINI Cooper is the winner in terms of gas mileage. The Sebring is substantially pricier than the MINI Cooper in terms of MSRP. The Chrysler Sebring will cost you a bundle in gasoline every year compared to the MINI Cooper.

Handling
With their similar turning radii, the MINI Cooper and the Chrysler Sebring definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The MINI's engine is substantially smaller than the Sebring's. Keep in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the flip side, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. The Chrysler packs quite a wallop compared to the Cooper in terms of torque, which is the force that lets you accelerate quickly. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Chrysler Sebring is substantially more powerful than the MINI Cooper.

Comfort
The ampler interior dimensions of the Chrysler Sebring make it significantly more spacious for your passengers than the Cooper.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Chrysler isn't quite as generous as the MINI Cooper's.
