Performance
In terms of horsepower, the TTS packs quite a punch and will knock the MINI Cooper down a few rungs. On the flip side, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the MINI Cooper and the Audi TTS likely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Audi TTS has a more massive engine than the MINI Cooper. Note that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Torque equals pickup, and the Audi TTS will have picked up and gone by the time the MINI Cooper finally gets moving. The MINI Cooper could learn a lesson or two from the Audi TTS as far as torque.

Utility
Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the MINI over the TTS.

Convenience
You definitely won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Audi than with the MINI Cooper, because both offer similar mileage ranges.

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The MINI Cooper is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the Audi TTS. The Audi TTS uses a lot of gasoline compared to the MINI Cooper. The Audi TTS pales in comparison to the MINI Cooper as far as fuel economy. As far as MSRP, the Audi TTS costs tremendously more than the Cooper. The Audi will cost you a lots_of_money in gasoline every year compared to the MINI Cooper.
