With their comparable turning circles, the Hyundai Veracruz and the Mountaineer most certainly handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

The Hyundai Veracruz and the Mercury have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Mercury. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Hyundai isn't much more powerful than the Mercury Mountaineer.

Utility
