Mercury Overview:
Mercury didn’t rest after adding significant upgrades to its fleet in 2008.  Instead, Mercury dropped new engines, new technology and improved fuel efficiency for 2009.

After going through an extensive redesign last year, the Mariner compact SUV gets re-engineered with two new engines that add more power and fuel efficiency.  The Mariner is the sister vehicle to the Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute.  If the Mariner isn’t fuel efficient enough for you, check out the Mariner Hybrid, which gets 29-34 MPG in the city and 27-31 MPG on the highway.

If the Mariner is too small for your tastes, then check out the Mountaineer full-size SUV.  Seat up to seven passengers or utilize 85.8 cubic feet of cargo space.  Rugged, yes.  Luxurious—definitely.  The new SYNC package synchronizes phones and other media devices and offers voice activation for those who wish to keep their eyes on the road and hands on the steering wheel.

After going through a redesign in 2008, the 2009 Sable gets a standard electronic stability system and a luxury VOGA option package, which features sophisticated interior and exterior styling.

Mercury’s midsize sedan juggernaut, the Milan adds an electronic stability control and the Milan Premium trim, the VOGA package.  The SYNC multimedia system is fun on the inside, while 16- and 17-inch wheels bring style to the outside.  The Grand Marquis is Mercury’s full-size tank that rides smooth and has enough trunk space to accommodate four sets of golf clubs.
