New 2009 Mercury Grand Marquis

Available in two trim levels, the LS and GS, the Grand Marquis features a 4.6-liter, 224-horsepower SOHC V-8 engine, which is simple, yet powerful and luxurious. The four-speed automatic transmission provides smooth shifts and the rear air suspension creates a cushy, well-managed road feel. Fuel economy is what you would expect from a V-8; 14 MPG in the city and 21 MPG on the highway.    Competition includes the Chrysler 300 and Buick Lucerne.
