2010 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class Overview
The luxurious 2010 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class grand touring coupe features two hefty V-12 engine options that crank out tons of horsepower and a host of standard driver-assisted safety technologies.

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class is available in CL550, CL600, CL63 AMG and CL65 AMG trim levels and either rear- or all-wheel-drive configurations. The standard 4Matic all-wheel-drive model is powered by a 382-horsepower, 5.5-liter V-8 and is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The rear-wheel-drive CL600 is equipped with a monstrous 510-horsepower, 5.5-liter twin-turbo V-12 engine coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission for maximum performance and can hit 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds.

The CL63 AMG is powered by a 518-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 coupled to a performance-tuned seven-speed automatic transmission and finally, the CL65 AMG is equipped with a massive 604-horsepower, 6.0-liter twin-turbo V-12 propelling it from zero to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. EPA fuel economy ratings top out at 14 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class shares similarities with the high-end S-Class sedan and competes with Bentley Continental GT and BMW M6. Measuring 199.4 inches in length, the CL-Class is larger than its competitors and nearly as long as many full-size SUVs. Standard exterior features include dual stainless steel exhaust with chrome tailpipe finish, power moonroof, self-leveling suspension system and bi-xenon headlights with washers. An AMG Sport Package offers 20-inch wheels while the CL600 sits on new standard 18-inch wheels.

On the inside, the 2010 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class seats up to four passengers with a class-leading 104.2 cubic feet of passenger volume. Standard interior features include bucket rear seats, heated front seats and power-closing trunk. A backseat DVD entertainment system is optional.

New features for 2010 include enhanced driver assistance technology, including Parking Guidance, which assists in parallel parking, and a blind spot warning system with adaptive cruise control, which detects traffic ahead and automatically maintains a preset distance behind the vehicle ahead. Standard safety technologies include side-impact airbags for both rows of seats, side curtain airbags, antilock brakes, an electronic stability system and automated collision-mitigation braking system that prepares for an impending impact. An Attention Assist system detects when you need to take a break based on behavioral changes and a new Night View Assist detects pedestrians ahead.

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class grand touring coupe features unmatched power and performance combined with luxurious amenities that only Mercedes-Benz can offer.
