Mercedes-Benz Overview:
Instead of ushering in an all-new luxury class for 2010, Mercedes decided to reshuffle the deck and go green.  The midsize E-Class luxury sedan boasts changes to the exterior and a long list of new safety technologies and luxury features.  The all-new E-Class coupe is a two-door version of the E-Class sedan and replaces the CLK coupe. A new high-performance E63 AMG and its 518-horsepower, 6.3-liter V-8 can sprint from zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds.

What is good news for the E-Class is bad news for the entry-level CLK-Class, which has been discontinued in 2010.

Mercedes’ entry-level luxury sedan, the C-Class offers well-balanced handling with a selection of powerful V-6 or V-8 engines for riveting performance. New options include a rearview camera, tilted parking mirror and revised media interface.

The already impressive flagship S-Class series unveils the spectacular S400 Hybrid for 2010.  The S400 is Mercedes’ first hybrid sedan and is set to receive 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.  All S-Class models boast a light restyling that includes new headlights, taillights, and new grille.   If you want power with your S-Class, you’re in luck with the S550, S600, S63 and 604-horsepower S65.

After receiving restyled front and rear fascias in 2009, the mid-level CLS-Class and its raw V-8 power are unchanged in 2010. The impeccable CL-Class two-door sedan incorporates new driver-assistance technology and a 100th Anniversary Edition of Mercedes-Benz model.

Mercedes-Benz continues to feature a luxurious line of sports cars, starting with the compact SLK-Class roadster. The SLK roadster offers the new limited Diamond White Edition with sport suspension, while the SLK350 boasts a 300-horsepower V-6. The impressive performance and luxury of the SL-Class convertibles are legendary.  The 2010 SL-Class features four trims and four distinct and very powerful engines.

Their SUVs continue to impress, starting with the five-seat midsize M-Class and the 6-seat R-Class, which both embody elegant wagon-like styling and confident on- and off-road handling characteristics. The M-Class goes green with the ML450 Hybrid that gets a combined 335-horsepower and 21 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

The boxy, powerful G-Class SUV features the 382-horsepower G550, while the company’s first three-row midsize GL-Class incorporates a Bluetec turbo-diesel V-6 and Mercedes’ Pre-Safe collision-mitigation system and competes with the Acura MDX and BMW X5.
