New 2009 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class

Decent fuel economy of 18 MPG on the highway and 13 MPG in the city, keeps the GL-Class in line with its competitors the Audi Q7 and the Infiniti FX50. Its price includes conveniences which would normally be extra in its competitors, including a power windows, a first and third row sunroof, heated seats and 6-disc CD player (Sirius is available in the GL550).   For an additional charge, add the towing package which facilitates the vehicle to tow up to 7,500 pounds of cargo.

This luxury SUV is chock-full with safety features. Anti-lock brakes with brake assistant, traction and stability control come standard in every model. Especially important in SUVs is the addition of roll control. Eight airbags, including front, side overhead and knee keep all seven of the passengers safe. The Tele Aid SOS system, and COMAND navigation system (with voice activation) round out the amazing safety features.
