Mazda MAZDASPEED3 vs. Suzuki SX4 Review

Performance
Regarding horsepower, the Mazda MAZDASPEED3 packs quite a wallop and will knock the SX4 down a few rungs. However, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Suzuki SX4 and the Mazda MAZDASPEED3 quite certainly handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Suzuki SX4's engine is somewhat smaller than the Mazda MAZDASPEED3's, but not terribly so. The MAZDASPEED3 packs quite a punch compared to the Suzuki SX4 in terms of torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration.

Utility
Neither the Suzuki SX4 nor the Mazda MAZDASPEED3 has a marked advantage regarding seating capacity.

Convenience
The Suzuki SX4's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Mazda MAZDASPEED3.

While the front cabin in the Suzuki SX4 offers a bit more head room than the Mazda MAZDASPEED3, there really isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Mazda MAZDASPEED3 provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Suzuki, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Mazda is tremendously heavier than the Suzuki SX4. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Mazda MAZDASPEED3 than the Suzuki SX4 because of its bigger tank. The Suzuki SX4 and the MAZDASPEED3 compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Suzuki SX4 to the dealership as the Mazda MAZDASPEED3. Producing an exact fuel economy evaluation is so hard that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Suzuki is the winner when it comes to gas mileage. There frankly isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the SX4 is slightly more economical than the Mazda MAZDASPEED3. The Suzuki SX4 is substantially less costly than the Mazda MAZDASPEED3 in terms of MSRP.
