Mazda MAZDA6 vs. Scion tC Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the tC to the dealership as the Mazda MAZDA6. With respect to fuel economy, the MAZDA6 and the Scion don't differ much. The tC doesn't pale in comparison to the Mazda MAZDA6 as far as fuel economy. The Mazda MAZDA6 is tremendously more expensive than the Scion tC when it comes to MSRP. When it comes to purchase cost, the Scion tC costs quite a bit less than the Mazda MAZDA6.

Utility
There's no clear winner between the Scion tC and the Mazda when it comes to hauling capacity. The MAZDA6 and the Scion can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Convenience
The Scion tC's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Mazda.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Mazda MAZDA6 offers a bit more head room than the tC, there really isn't much of a difference. The MAZDA6 offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Scion tC does.

Dimensions
The Mazda MAZDA6 is a bit heavier than the Scion. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Mazda than the Scion tC because of its larger tank. The Scion tC and the Mazda MAZDA6 compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
With their similar turning radiuses, the tC and the Mazda MAZDA6 most definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Mazda MAZDA6 and the Scion tC have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Scion tC. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Scion isn't much more powerful than the Mazda MAZDA6.
