The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Mitsubishi Galant to the dealership as the Mazda MAZDA6. With respect to MSRP, the Mazda MAZDA6 doesn't cost much less than the Galant.

Utility
Neither the Mitsubishi Galant nor the Mazda MAZDA6 has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Galant offers a bit more head room than the Mazda MAZDA6, there frankly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Mazda MAZDA6 offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Galant, there really isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Mitsubishi Galant's tank is almost the same size as the Mazda MAZDA6's, though the Mazda MAZDA6's is a tad larger. The Mitsubishi Galant and the Mazda MAZDA6 compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Mazda MAZDA6 and the Mitsubishi Galant quite certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Mitsubishi Galant and the Mazda have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Mazda.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Mazda MAZDA6 isn't quite as generous as the Mitsubishi Galant's.
