The Kia Rio and the Mazda MAZDA6 can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Performance
With respect to horsepower, the Mazda MAZDA6 packs quite a punch and will knock the Kia Rio down a few rungs. On the other hand, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Mazda MAZDA6 is tremendously heavier than the Rio. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Mazda MAZDA6 than the Rio because of its bigger tank. The Kia Rio fits in smaller parking spaces than the MAZDA6. The Mazda's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the other hand, the Rio may give a more agile feel in daily traffic.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Kia Rio to the dealership as the Mazda MAZDA6. The Kia Rio is tremendously less costly than the MAZDA6 as far as MSRP.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Kia Rio and the MAZDA6 quite certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Mazda MAZDA6's engine is tremendously larger than the Kia Rio's. Bear in mind that larger engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones.
