Mazda MAZDA6 vs. Kia Optima Review

Drivetrain
The Mazda MAZDA6's engine isn't much larger than the Kia Optima's. The Mazda MAZDA6 has no lessons to learn with respect to torque from the Optima.

Utility
The Kia Optima and the Mazda MAZDA6 can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Kia Optima offers a bit more head room than the MAZDA6, there honestly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Kia Optima offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Mazda MAZDA6, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Kia Optima's tank is almost the same size as the MAZDA6's, though the Mazda MAZDA6's is somewhat larger. The Kia Optima and the Mazda MAZDA6 compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Optima to the dealership as the Mazda MAZDA6. As far as MSRP, the Mazda MAZDA6 costs almost as much as the Kia Optima (though the Kia Optima is a tad cheaper).

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Mazda MAZDA6 isn't quite as generous as the Kia Optima's.
