As far as horsepower, the Mazda MAZDA6 packs quite a punch and will knock the Honda Accord down a few rungs. However, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

The MAZDA6's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Honda.

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Accord to the dealership as the MAZDA6. The Mazda MAZDA6 requires a lot of gasoline compared to the Honda Accord. The Mazda MAZDA6 pales in comparison to the Honda Accord regarding gas mileage. With respect to MSRP, the Honda Accord costs almost as much as the Mazda (though the Mazda is a bit cheaper). The MAZDA6 will cost you a bundle in gasoline every year compared to the Honda Accord.
