Regarding horsepower, the Mazda packs quite a punch and will knock the Chevrolet Aveo down a few rungs. On the flip side, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Aveo is most certainly nimbler than the Mazda MAZDA6, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

The Mazda MAZDA6's engine is tremendously more sizeable than the Aveo's. Remember that more sizeable engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. The Chevrolet's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a sprier feel in daily traffic than the Mazda MAZDA6.

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Chevrolet Aveo to the dealership as the Mazda MAZDA6. In terms of MSRP, the Chevrolet Aveo costs tremendously less than the MAZDA6.
