Mazda MAZDA3 vs. Scion xB Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Scion xB to the dealership as the Mazda MAZDA3. The Mazda MAZDA3 consumes a lot of gasoline compared to the Scion. Producing an exact fuel economy evaluation is so tough that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Scion xB and the Scion xB perform roughly similarly when it comes to gas mileage. The MAZDA3 is substantially costlier than the Scion xB in terms of MSRP. The Scion xB is considerably less costly than the Mazda MAZDA3 as far as out-the-door price.

Utility
The Scion xB's more massive trunk will accommodate more massive objects than the Mazda MAZDA3. The Mazda and the Scion xB can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Convenience
The Scion xB's fuel tank will need to be replenished a tad more often than the unit in the Mazda MAZDA3.

Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the Scion xB's front cabin compared to the Mazda. The Scion xB offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Mazda does.

Dimensions
The Scion xB is likely to feel a tad slow because of its high horsepower-to-weight ratio. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Mazda MAZDA3 than the Scion xB because of its larger tank. The Scion xB fits in smaller parking spaces than the Mazda.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Mazda MAZDA3 packs quite a wallop and will knock the Scion xB down a few rungs. On the flip side, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums. The Scion is likely to feel a tad slow because of its high horsepower-to-weight ratio.

Handling
The MAZDA3 and the Scion have roughly similar tires. With their similar turning radiuses, the Mazda MAZDA3 and the Scion xB most definitely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Scion xB's engine is significantly smaller than the Mazda MAZDA3's. Note that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; however, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Mazda MAZDA3 is considerably more powerful than the Scion xB. Torque equals pickup, and the MAZDA3 will have picked up and gone by the time the xB finally gets moving.
