Mazda MAZDA3 vs. Kia Spectra Review

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Kia Spectra to the dealership as the Mazda MAZDA3. Producing a precise gas mileage evaluation is so difficult that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Spectra and the Spectra perform almost similarly regarding fuel economy. The Mazda MAZDA3 won't tax your gasoline budget significantly more than the Kia Spectra will. The Mazda MAZDA3 is significantly costlier than the Spectra in terms of MSRP.

Utility
Neither the Kia Spectra nor the Mazda MAZDA3 has a marked advantage as far as seating capacity.

Convenience
You most certainly won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Spectra than with the Mazda MAZDA3, as both offer similar mileage ranges.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Kia Spectra's front cabin compared to the Mazda MAZDA3. While the rear of the Mazda MAZDA3 provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Kia Spectra, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Kia's tank is about the same size as the Mazda MAZDA3's, though the Mazda MAZDA3's is a bit larger. The Kia Spectra and the Mazda MAZDA3 compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Kia Spectra and the Mazda MAZDA3 most definitely handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Mazda MAZDA3's engine isn't much larger than the Kia Spectra's. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Kia isn't much more powerful than the Mazda MAZDA3.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Mazda MAZDA3 isn't quite as generous as the Kia's.
