Lincoln Town Car vs. Lexus IS-F Review

With that kind of horsepower, the Lexus IS-F is a true speedster. Regarding horsepower, the Lexus IS-F packs quite a wallop and will knock the Lincoln down a few rungs. On the flip side, note that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Lexus IS-F is most certainly more maneuverable than the Lincoln Town Car, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, remember that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Lincoln Town Car and the Lexus IS-F have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Lexus IS-F. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Lexus IS-F is considerably more powerful than the Lincoln. The Lexus IS-F packs quite a punch compared to the Lincoln Town Car with respect to torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration.

Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the Lincoln Town Car over the Lexus IS-F.

While the front cabin in the Town Car offers a bit more head room than the Lexus IS-F, there really isn't much of a difference. The Lincoln Town Car provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Lexus IS-F does.

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Lexus IS-F to the dealership as the Lincoln Town Car. The Lexus IS-F doesn't pale in comparison to the Lincoln Town Car in terms of fuel economy. As far as MSRP, the Town Car doesn't cost much less than the Lexus IS-F.
