Lincoln Town Car vs. Cadillac DTS Review

Handling
With their similar turning radii, the Town Car and the Cadillac DTS definitely handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Cadillac DTS's engine is a tad smaller than the Lincoln Town Car's, but not terribly so. The Lincoln Town Car has no lessons to learn in terms of torque from the Cadillac DTS. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Cadillac DTS isn't much more powerful than the Lincoln Town Car.

Utility
The Lincoln Town Car and the Cadillac can accommodate the same number of passengers. The Lincoln Town Car outpulls the Cadillac DTS by a big margin.

Convenience
You'll likely take the Cadillac DTS for a fill-up almost as often as the Lincoln Town Car.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Lincoln offers a bit more head room than the Cadillac DTS, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Cadillac DTS provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Lincoln Town Car does.

Dimensions
The Cadillac DTS's tank is approximately the same size as the Lincoln's, though the Lincoln Town Car's is a tad larger. The Cadillac DTS and the Lincoln compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Cadillac DTS to the dealership as the Lincoln Town Car. The Cadillac DTS doesn't pale in comparison to the Town Car with respect to fuel economy. There honestly isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Town Car is a bit more economical than the DTS. When it comes to MSRP, the Lincoln Town Car costs about as much as the Cadillac DTS (though the Cadillac DTS is a little cheaper).
