Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Lincoln Town Car over the BMW 528. The 528 is likely a better choice than the Lincoln regarding hauling capacity, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of cargo or animals.

Dimensions
The Lincoln Town Car is substantially heavier than the 528. The BMW 528's tank is about the same size as the Lincoln Town Car's, though the Lincoln Town Car's is a tad larger. The BMW 528 and the Lincoln Town Car compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The Town Car's fuel tank will need to be replenished slightly more often than the unit in the BMW 528.

Cost

There frankly isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the BMW 528 is slightly more economical than the Town Car. The 528 could learn a lesson or two from the Lincoln as far as pickup. The Lincoln Town Car packs quite a punch compared to the 528 with respect to torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Town Car offers a bit more head room than the BMW 528, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Town Car offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the BMW 528 does.
