Lincoln Navigator L vs. Porsche Cayenne Review

The Lincoln Navigator L will most definitely prove more convenient than the Porsche Cayenne for those of you with frequent kid-cargo. There's no clear winner between the Porsche Cayenne and the Lincoln Navigator L regarding hauling capacity. There's little the Lincoln can tow that the Porsche Cayenne cannot.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Porsche Cayenne and the Lincoln Navigator L are legitimate speedsters.

Dimensions
The Lincoln Navigator L is tremendously heavier than the Porsche. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Lincoln than the Porsche Cayenne because of its larger tank. The Porsche Cayenne fits in smaller parking spaces than the Lincoln Navigator L. The Porsche's shorter wheelbase will give a nimbler feel in daily traffic. On the other hand, the Lincoln is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Lincoln to the dealership as the Cayenne. The Porsche is substantially costlier than the Navigator L when it comes to MSRP.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Cayenne is quite certainly nimbler than the Lincoln Navigator L, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Navigator L's engine is substantially more sizeable than the Cayenne's. Note that more massive engines may use more gas than smaller ones. The Lincoln Navigator L packs quite a wallop compared to the Cayenne regarding torque, which is the force that lets you accelerate quickly. Torque equals pickup, and the Lincoln will have picked up and gone by the time the Porsche Cayenne finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Porsche Cayenne offers a bit more head room than the Navigator L, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The Lincoln provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Cayenne does.

Warranty
The Lincoln and the Porsche have the same basic after-sale protection.
