Lincoln Navigator L vs. HUMMER H2 SUT Review

With that kind of horsepower, both the HUMMER and the Lincoln are legitimate speedsters.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the HUMMER H2 SUT and the Lincoln most definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Navigator L's engine is substantially smaller than the HUMMER H2 SUT's. Remember that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; however, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. The Lincoln could learn a lesson or two from the HUMMER H2 SUT when it comes to torque. Torque equals pickup, and the HUMMER H2 SUT will have picked up and gone by the time the Lincoln Navigator L finally gets moving.

Utility
The Lincoln Navigator L will most definitely prove more practical than the HUMMER H2 SUT for those of you with frequent kid-cargo. The H2 SUT is likely a better choice than the Lincoln Navigator L when it comes to hauling capacity, especially if you often need to carry a lot of loot or sizeable animals. There's little the Lincoln Navigator L can tow that the HUMMER cannot.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the HUMMER H2 SUT offers a bit more head room than the Navigator L, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Lincoln Navigator L is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the HUMMER H2 SUT.

Dimensions
The HUMMER H2 SUT's tank is almost the same size as the Lincoln's, though the Lincoln's is slightly larger. The H2 SUT fits in smaller parking spaces than the Lincoln Navigator L. The HUMMER H2 SUT's shorter wheelbase will give a nimbler feel in daily traffic. On the other hand, the Lincoln Navigator L is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Lincoln Navigator L to the dealership as the HUMMER H2 SUT. The H2 SUT isn't much more expensive than the Lincoln Navigator L in terms of MSRP.

Warranty
The Lincoln Navigator L and the HUMMER H2 SUT have the same basic after-sale protection.
