Lincoln Navigator L vs. Cadillac Escalade ESV Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Navigator L to the dealership as the Cadillac Escalade ESV. With respect to MSRP, the Navigator L costs significantly less than the Cadillac Escalade ESV.

Utility
Neither the Escalade ESV nor the Lincoln has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. The Navigator L is a better choice than the Cadillac Escalade ESV as far as hauling capacity, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of equipment or large animals. There's little the Lincoln Navigator L can tow that the Cadillac Escalade ESV cannot.

Comfort
Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the Cadillac Escalade ESV's front cabin compared to the Lincoln Navigator L. The Navigator L is not particularly more spacious for your passengers than the Cadillac Escalade ESV.

Dimensions
The Lincoln Navigator L is substantially heavier than the Cadillac. The Cadillac Escalade ESV's tank is almost the same size as the Lincoln Navigator L's, though the Lincoln Navigator L's is a tad larger. The Lincoln Navigator L and the Escalade ESV compete for the same parking spaces.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Escalade ESV and the Lincoln Navigator L are true sportscars.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Cadillac Escalade ESV and the Lincoln Navigator L quite certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Lincoln Navigator L's engine is significantly smaller than the Cadillac's. Note that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the flip side, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque equals pickup, and the Cadillac Escalade ESV will have picked up and gone by the time the Lincoln finally gets moving.

Warranty
The Navigator L and the Escalade ESV have the same basic warranty.
