When it comes to gas mileage, the MKX has the Chrysler Aspen beat. The Chrysler Aspen will tax your gasoline budget significantly more than the MKX will. Regarding MSRP, the Lincoln MKX costs roughly as much as the Chrysler Aspen (though the Chrysler Aspen is a little cheaper).

Utility
Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the Aspen over the Lincoln MKX. The Chrysler Aspen is a better choice than the Lincoln MKX when it comes to transporting cargo, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of cargo or animals. The Aspen outpulls the Lincoln by a massive margin.

Convenience
You won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Lincoln MKX than with the Chrysler Aspen, because both offer similar ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Aspen offers a bit more head room than the MKX, there really isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Lincoln MKX make it considerably roomier for your passengers than the Aspen.

Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Chrysler than the Lincoln MKX because of its larger tank. The Lincoln and the Chrysler Aspen compete for the same parking spaces.
