Lincoln MKX vs. Chevrolet Traverse Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Traverse to the dealership as the Lincoln MKX. Producing a precise gas mileage evaluation is so hard that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Traverse and the Traverse perform almost comparably as far as fuel economy. The Traverse won't save you much money at the pump compared to the Lincoln MKX. As far as MSRP, the Chevrolet Traverse costs considerably less than the Lincoln MKX.

Utility
The Chevrolet will most definitely prove more convenient than the Lincoln MKX for those of you with frequent child-cargo.

Convenience
The MKX's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Chevrolet Traverse.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Chevrolet Traverse offers a bit more head room than the Lincoln MKX, there really isn't much of a difference. The Lincoln offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Chevrolet does.

Dimensions
The Lincoln's tank is approximately the same size as the Chevrolet Traverse's, though the Chevrolet's is a bit bigger. The Lincoln MKX and the Chevrolet Traverse compete for the same parking spaces. The Traverse's longer wheelbase will likely result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the other hand, the Lincoln MKX may give a sprier feel in daily traffic.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the MKX and the Chevrolet Traverse most certainly handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Lincoln MKX's engine is a little smaller than the Chevrolet Traverse's, but not terribly so. The Lincoln MKX has no lessons to learn with respect to torque from the Chevrolet Traverse.

Overview
The basic warranty that comes with the Chevrolet Traverse isn't quite as generous as the Lincoln MKX's.
