Lincoln MKX vs. Cadillac SRX Review

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Cadillac to the dealership as the Lincoln. The Lincoln MKX will tax your gasoline budget considerably more than the Cadillac SRX will. The Lincoln isn't much less expensive than the SRX as far as MSRP.

Utility
Neither the Cadillac SRX nor the Lincoln MKX has a marked advantage when it comes to seating capacity. The Cadillac SRX is likely a better choice than the Lincoln MKX with respect to transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of stuff or sizeable dogs.

Convenience
You will definitely have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Lincoln MKX than with the Cadillac SRX.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Lincoln MKX offers a bit more head room than the Cadillac SRX, there really isn't much of a difference. The Lincoln MKX provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the SRX does.

The Lincoln MKX's tank is roughly the same size as the Cadillac SRX's, though the Cadillac SRX's is a tad bigger. The Lincoln MKX and the Cadillac SRX compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
With their similar turning circles, the Lincoln MKX and the Cadillac SRX definitely handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Lincoln's engine is considerably more massive than the SRX's. Bear in mind that bigger engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. The Cadillac SRX could learn a lesson or two from the Lincoln MKX in terms of pickup.

The Lincoln and the Cadillac SRX have the same basic after-sale protection.
