Lincoln MKX vs. Audi Q5 Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Audi Q5 to the dealership as the Lincoln MKX. Producing an exact gas mileage evaluation is so difficult that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Audi Q5 is the winner in terms of gas mileage. The Lincoln MKX isn't much costlier than the Audi with respect to MSRP.

Utility
Neither the Lincoln MKX nor the Audi Q5 has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. There's no clear winner between the Audi Q5 and the Lincoln MKX with respect to transporting cargo. The Audi Q5 outpulls the Lincoln by a massive margin.

Convenience
The Lincoln's fuel tank will need to be replenished a little more often than the unit in the Audi Q5.

Comfort
Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the Audi's front cabin compared to the Lincoln MKX. The MKX provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Audi does.

Dimensions
The Audi Q5's tank is approximately the same size as the Lincoln's, though the Lincoln's is slightly bigger. The Audi Q5 and the Lincoln MKX compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
With their similar turning radii, the Audi Q5 and the Lincoln definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Q5's engine is a bit smaller than the Lincoln MKX's, but not terribly so. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Lincoln isn't much more powerful than the Audi Q5. The Audi Q5 has no lessons to learn with respect to pickup from the MKX.

Warranty
The Audi and the Lincoln MKX have the same basic after-sale protection.
