Lincoln MKX vs. Acura RDX Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Acura RDX to the dealership as the Lincoln MKX. The Lincoln MKX isn't much less expensive than the Acura RDX in terms of MSRP.

Utility
There's no clear winner between the Lincoln MKX and the RDX as far as transporting cargo. Neither the Lincoln MKX nor the Acura has a marked advantage as far as seating capacity. Towing is markedly more the Lincoln MKX's forte than it is the Acura RDX's.

Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the MKX's front cabin compared to the Acura RDX. The ampler interior dimensions of the Lincoln make it quite a bit more spacious for your passengers than the Acura.

Dimensions
The MKX is somewhat more ponderous than the Acura RDX. The Acura RDX's tank is roughly the same size as the Lincoln MKX's, though the MKX's is a little larger. The Lincoln MKX rides lower than the Acura RDX, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The Acura RDX and the Lincoln MKX compete for the same parking spaces. The Acura's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a nimbler feel in daily traffic than the Lincoln MKX.

Handling
The Lincoln MKX and the Acura RDX have roughly comparable tires. With their comparable turning circles, the Acura and the Lincoln MKX quite certainly handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Lincoln MKX has a larger engine than the Acura RDX. Keep in mind that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but smaller engines can be stressed more. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Acura RDX isn't much more powerful than the Lincoln MKX.
