Vehicle Overview
The Lincoln MKT is a full-size crossover SUV with seating for up to seven people in three rows. It's related to the Flex from parent company Ford, but the MKT has a different appearance. Competitors include the Buick Enclave, Acura MDX and Audi Q7.

Exterior
The 2014 features a sleek look with a vertical-slat front grille, broad tail design with power liftgate sitting on 19-inch aluminum wheels; with 20-inch aluminum wheels available. Dual exhaust outlets and fog lights give it an aggressive look with power moonroof available.

Interior
The MKT features comfortable seating for up to seven, six with available second-row captain's chairs. Electronics include sync multimedia system and the MyLincoln Touch with a center dashboard screen and configurable instrument-cluster screen. Additional standard features include power front seats, power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and leather upholstery.

Under the Hood
The MKT is driven by a 303-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 engine with a 365-hp, twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 available. Both engines come in six-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles, runs on regular gas, but the twin-turbo V-6 prefers premium for maximum performance.  Front or all-wheel drive available for both engines with available adaptive suspension.

Safety Features
The MKT comes well protected with six airbags, antilock brakes, electronic stability system all standard. Safety technology includes a backup camera and rear parking sensors standard as well. Additional safety options include lane departure warning and prevention system, blind spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert, and inflatable second-row seat belts that help distribute crash forces.
