2010 Lincoln MKT Overview
After going through the SUV age, the auto industry has seen a growing trend toward spacious, yet highly functional vehicles labeled “crossovers,” which are half SUV, half sedan.  Lincoln has taken that concept and applied it to its all-new 2010 MKT, which blends a spacious, luxurious interior with impressive power and cutting-edge technology that will give SUV-wary consumers a fun and practical option.

When it comes to power, the 2010 Lincoln MKT offers two V-6 engines: the base 3.7-liter 268-horsepower V-6 and the optional 3.5-liter, 355-horsepower V-6 that boasts EcoBoost with fuel injection and two turbochargers.  Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters for manual gear shifting.   The MKT shares the same platform as the Ford Flex and offers both front- or all-wheel drive allowing you to maintain optimal control.  When properly equipped, the MKT can tow up to 4,500 pounds and competes with the Buick Enclave and Acura MDX.

With its large, bold, split-wing grille, the MKT is instantly recognizable.  Rounded edges, lend to the MKT’s sleek and uniform design with taillights that stretch across the rear fascia like a visor.  A fixed glass panoramic Vista sunroof is standard, while one-touch power functionality is optional.  Once you step into the 2010 MKT, you will notice leather bucket seating for six passengers and a refrigerator or a rear bench seat that allows the MKT to seat up to seven. Utilize 75.9 cubic feet of maximum cargo space (with both rows folded), 39.6 cubic feet with the rear seat folded and 17.9 cubic feet behind the third row.

Ambient interior lighting, CD/DVD/MP3-capable sound system with 12 speakers, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, auxiliary jack, a 10GB hard drive and USB port are all standard.  The SYNC™ Communications and Entertainment System allows you to use voice commands to access your music collection by genre, album, artist or song title and operate your Bluetooth®.  Tri-zone temperature control, 12-way power heated/cooled driver and front passenger seats, power liftgate and touch screen with audio and climate controls come standard.  A voice-activated navigation system, THX certified 5.1 surround audio system, dual-headrest DVD entertainment system and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels are included in the Elite Package.

When it comes to safety, the 2010 Lincoln MKT has you and your family covered.  Side curtain airbags for all three rows, side-impact airbags for the front seats, antilock brakes, electronic stability system with Roll Stability Control, rear parking sensors and a backup camera all come standard.  The optional Blind Spot Information System, Collision Warning and Brake Support lessen the probability of an impact.

Filled with a host of luxurious features, impressive power, cutting-edge technology and a bold, fresh design; the all-new 2010 Lincoln MKT makes crossing over easier than ever.
