2010 Lincoln MKS vs. 2010 Audi S4 Review

Comparison Review

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Audi S4 and the Lincoln MKS quite certainly handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Audi S4's engine is substantially smaller than the Lincoln MKS's. Note that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the other hand, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. The Lincoln MKS could learn a lesson or two from the Audi as far as pickup. Torque equals pickup, and the Audi S4 will have picked up and gone by the time the Lincoln finally gets moving.

Utility
Neither the Audi S4 nor the MKS has a marked advantage as far as seating capacity.

Convenience
You likely won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the MKS than with the S4, as both offer similar ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Audi offers a bit more head room than the Lincoln MKS, there really isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Lincoln MKS is substantially heavier than the Audi S4. The Audi S4's tank is roughly the same size as the Lincoln's, though the Lincoln's is a little bigger. The Audi S4 and the Lincoln MKS compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
With respect to fuel economy, the Audi S4 is slightly better than the Lincoln MKS, but not by much. The Lincoln pales in comparison to the Audi S4 as far as gas mileage. The Lincoln MKS isn't much less expensive than the Audi S4 when it comes to MSRP.

Warranty
The MKS and the Audi S4 have the same basic after-sale protection.
