2011 Lincoln MKS Overview

If you’re looking for a refined sedan that is flush with cutting-edge technology and a powerful, yet fuel-efficient engine, look no further than the 2011 Lincoln MKS.

The 2011 Lincoln MKS is equipped with one of two powerful engines: a 273-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 engine with SelectShift® and a 355-horsepower, twin-turbocharged, EcoBoost 3.5-liter V-6 with direct injection.  The EcoBoost engine meshes the power of a traditional V-8 with the fuel economy of a V-6.  Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and have available front- or all-wheel drive.  When it comes to fuel economy, the MKS gets a modest 16-17 mpg in the city and 23-25 mpg on the highway.  The 2011 Lincoln MKS boasts more power and comparable fuel economy at a lower price than the Acura RL, Infiniti M and Cadillac STS.

Based on the Ford Taurus platform, the 2011 MKS features ample interior headroom and space for all passengers to sit comfortably.  In its attempt to become synonymous with refinement, the MKS features an interior flush with leather.  The double-wing grille is reminiscent of the 1941 Lincoln Continental giving a modern touch to classic design.  The 2011 MKS rests on either 18-, 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels and features a keyless-entry keypad, dual chrome exhaust, as well as optional adaptive headlights and a dual-panel sunroof.

The 2011 Lincoln MKS comes well equipped with a long list of standard features: heated 12-way power front bucket seats, audio input jack, dual-zone temperature control, Audiophile in-dash 6-disc CD changer, MP3 capability, SIRIUS Satellite Radio and a THX II certified audio system. The SecuriCode™ Keyless Entry Keypad is invisible unless activated when heat is detected.

An optional navigation system adds HD radio for 2011, and the updated SYNC™ Communications and Entertainment System now integrates directions and traffic information with the voice-controlled navigation system.  The SYNC™ system also uses inputted voice commands to access your music collection by genre, album, artist or song title and operate your Bluetooth® connected devices.

The 2011 Lincoln MKS takes safety seriously with AdvanceTrac® with electric stability control, four-wheel-disc brakes, and six airbags, including dual front airbags, side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags that stay inflated longer during a rollover.  An anti-theft perimeter alarm, Belt-Minder system and S.O.S. post-crash alert system lead the charge in innovative safety features.  The MyKey™ feature comes standard and allows you to limit top speed, the volume of the car stereo, and add extra seat belt warnings when teens are driving.

Ride in comfort, style and safety with the efficient and classic 2011 Lincoln MKS.
