The GS 450h's engine is considerably smaller than the Infiniti M45's. Keep in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the flip side, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Infiniti M45 is significantly more powerful than the Lexus GS 450h.

Utility
The Infiniti M45 and the Lexus GS 450h can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Convenience
The Infiniti M45's fuel tank will need to be replenished slightly more often than the unit in the Lexus.

Comfort
Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the Infiniti M45's front cabin compared to the Lexus GS 450h. While the rear of the Infiniti M45 provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Lexus GS 450h, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Lexus GS 450h is significantly more bulky than the Infiniti M45. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Infiniti than the Lexus because of its larger tank. The Lexus GS 450h and the M45 compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Infiniti M45 to the dealership as the Lexus.
