2014 Lexus GS 350 Overview (See Available Styles)

  • The sportier of Lexus luxury sedan offerings
  • Available LED headlights and fog lights added for 2014
  • 306-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 engine
The 2014 Lexus GS 350 is a luxury midsize sedan with a hint of deviousness to it, offering more aggressive styling than the ES 350 and a more spirited driving experience as well thanks to some added horsepower.

After a full redesign in 2013, the GS 350 continues to make additions in 2014. LED headlights and LED fog lights are new optional features on the exterior, while rear-wheel drive models also get a new transmission.

The GS is the more aggressive looking model of Lexus’ two similarly sized and priced sedans, the other being the ES which was also redesigned last year. Up front you’ll find Lexus’ “spindle” front grille, which is bisected by the front bumper which offers a spot to hang a front license plate. 17-inch allow wheels come standard, with larger 18- and 19- inch cogs optional. HID headlights with LED accents and LED taillights are also standard. Lexus also produces an F Sport variant of the GS 350 which has more aggressive, sportier styling.

Under the hood, the GS 350 features a 306-hp, 3.5-liter V-6. Rear-wheel drive models get a new transmission for 2014, an eight-speed automatic, while all-wheel drive models stick with the six-speed automatic. Fuel economy estimates vary by drivetrain; expect 19/29 mpg city/highway with RWD and 19/26 mpg with AWD equipped.

Inside, the GS 350 comes with a lot of standard features, including 10-way power front seats, leather upholstery, Bluetooth connectivity, USB port, an eight-inch screen in the center console, Lexus Remote Touch Interface, and HD radio. Heated front and rear seats are optional, as are a color Head Up Display, navigation with a 12.3-inch screen, and a Mark Levinson premium audio system.

Standard safety features include ten airbags, antilock brakes, an electronic stability system, and a rear view camera with guidelines. There is also plenty of available technology aides for safer driving, including a blind spot warning system with rear cross-traffic alerts, lane departure warnings, and a forward pre-collision system with adaptive cruise control and pre-braking.
