2010 Lexus ES 350 Overview
Smooth luxury, sleek style and phenomenal safety features define the 2010 Lexus ES 350 sedan.

Driving the 2010 Lexus ES 350 is a 272-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6. The engine features dual variable valve timing technology and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. The ES 350 achieves a mediocre 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway, which is better than most configurations of the Acura TL and Lincoln MKZ.

For 2010, the Lexus ES 350 receives a revised front fascia with integrated fog lamps, new headlamp and taillight designs, and new interior console and trim choices. A new subscription-based Lexus Enform™ system competes with the OnStar system by including stolen vehicle location and crash notification functions.

Leather seating is standard, and the Ultra Luxury Package steps this up to semi-aniline leather with double-contrast stitching on the seats, doors and dashboard. A full set of power features, including a moonroof and dual zone automatic climate control make the ES 350 comfortable. The audio system includes a six-CD changer, and for 2010 now includes Bluetooth and USB media device connectivity. Standalone options include heated and ventilated front seats, a 300-watt stereo with 14 speakers and a touch-screen navigation system with conversational voice commands.

Lexus’s Vehicle Stability Control system, which incorporates traction and stability control functions, works in concert with antilock brakes and electronic brake-force distribution to make the ES 350 stop and turn as effectively and efficiently as possible. The Pre-Collision System includes an active cruise control system that automatically maintains a preset distance to the car in front. When an unavoidable impact is sensed, the PCS retracts the seatbelts and readies the brake assist system. Even if the driver fails to react, the PCS can apply the brakes.

The Adaptive Front Lighting system controls pivoting of the headlights, and points the headlamps where the driver needs them while turning. A strong unibody platform and a suite of airbags help the 2010 Lexus ES 350 achieve Five-Star impact ratings from NHTSA, except a Four-Star rating at the rear passenger side impact location.

Smooth styling, plush cruising, and sumptuous luxury combine with advanced safety features to make the 2010 Lexus ES 350 your entry-level luxury ride.
