2014 Lexus ES 350 Overview (See Available Styles)

  • Redesigned in 2013
  • 268-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 engine
  • Luxurious midsize sedan
Fresh off of a complete redesign last year, the 2014 Lexus ES 350 still offers a winning combination of value and luxury in a midsize sedan package.

The ES 350 received many changes in the 2013 update, the most noticeable of which happen to the exterior. Up front, the ES 350 wears a version of Lexus’ spindle grille which continues to proliferate across the Japanese automakers lineup. 17-inch alloy wheels are standard, while larger 18-inch wheels are optional. New LED daytime running lights give the front needed visual flair, while dual exhaust tips and a power moonroof finish off the exterior’s standard features list.

Under the hood is a familiar 268-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 that the ES 350 shares with the Toyota Camry. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. EPA estimated fuel economy checks in at 21/31 mpg city/highway.

Inside, the ES 350’s new, longer wheelbase adds some extra legroom for rear seat passengers so they can stretch out a bit more. Imitation leather is standard, while authentic leather is optional. The center console now features a multifunction controller that operates the “Remote Touch” interface and can be used to control many of the ES 350’s functions including climate controls, audio, and communication. Power front seats, automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and USB/auxiliary ports are standard. Bluetooth connectivity and a navigation system lead the available factory options.

The 2014 ES 350 also delivers when it comes to safety, with 10 airbags, antilock brakes, and an electronic stability system coming standard. Also available is a laundry list of safety technology, including a blind spot warning system, radar adaptive cruise control, a forward pre-collision warning system, and a backup camera.
