2012 Lexus ES 350 Overview
The 2012 Lexus 350 sports not only an affordable price, but also receives impressive fuel-efficiency for a midsize luxury sedan.
Up until 2012, the Lexus ES 350 was just a one-trim pony, but now there is a very limited Touring Edition. There are only 2,000 of these models available, and the Touring Edition comes with features like a full-size spare tire, wood and leather accents for the steering wheel and shifter, a navigation system, leather heated and ventilated front seats, and 17-inch wheels.
The front-wheel-drive 2012 Lexus ES 350 has a 268-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6, which generates 248 pounds-feet of torque for admirable acceleration. A six-speed automatic transmission with clutchless-manual mode gives you the best of both driving experiences. Fuel economy ratings are 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway and the ES 350 competes with the Lincoln MKZ and Acura TL.
When one thinks of Lexus, refinement and sophistication come to mind. That’s why many impressive features come as standard equipment such as a moonroof, dual-exhaust tips, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Dual-swivel adaptive front headlamps turn in the direction of a curve to illuminate the unknown, while integrated turn-signals in the side-view mirrors as well as puddle lamps help shine light on all areas of the ES 350. High-intensity discharge headlamps, keyless entry, integrated fog lights, and a panorama glass roof are just some of the impressive exterior options.
Inside the 2012 Lexus ES 350, you’ll enjoy as standard equipment 10-way power front seats, leather upholstery, wood accents, push-button start, USB/iPod and auxiliary audio inputs, Bluetooth® connectivity, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The available voice-activated GPS-linked voice-activated hard drive-based navigation system also gets updates from traffic, weather, and sports/stocks services so you can get all of the latest information regarding scores, driving conditions, and weather forecasts. The navigation system includes the Lexus Enform concierge service and Bluetooth® phonebook download so you can make reservations for your favorite restaurant or call anyone in your phonebook.
As for safety, the 2012 Lexus ES 350 offers the subscription-based Safety Connect communication system, which allows you to receive emergency help at a moment’s notice, whether it involves collision notification or if you need roadside assistance. A pre-collision system, all-disc brakes, traction control, an electronic stability system, and a full complement of airbags are in place to keep you and yours safe.
The 2012 Lexus ES 350 is everything you could want from a luxury sedan at an affordable price.
