Land Rover LR3 vs. Chevrolet Suburban 2500 Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Land Rover LR3 and the Chevrolet Suburban 2500 are legitimate sportscars.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the LR3 is most certainly more agile than the Chevrolet, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Land Rover's engine is significantly smaller than the Chevrolet Suburban 2500's. Keep in mind that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; however, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Suburban 2500 is significantly more powerful than the Land Rover. Torque equals pickup, and the Chevrolet Suburban 2500 will have picked up and gone by the time the Land Rover LR3 finally gets moving.

Utility
Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Chevrolet Suburban 2500 over the Land Rover LR3. The Suburban 2500 is likely a better choice than the Land Rover LR3 as far as transporting cargo, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of gear or big dogs. The Chevrolet Suburban 2500 outpulls the Land Rover LR3 by a big margin.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Suburban 2500 offers a bit more head room than the Land Rover LR3, there really isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Land Rover LR3 provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Chevrolet Suburban 2500, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Chevrolet Suburban 2500 is considerably heavier than the Land Rover LR3. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Suburban 2500 than the Land Rover LR3 because of its larger tank. The Land Rover LR3 fits in smaller parking spaces than the Suburban 2500. The Land Rover LR3's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a more agile feel in daily traffic than the Chevrolet.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Land Rover LR3 to the dealership as the Chevrolet Suburban 2500. The Land Rover LR3 isn't much pricier than the Suburban 2500 when it comes to MSRP.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Suburban 2500 isn't quite as generous as the Land Rover's.
