2014 Kia Sedona Overview
- Minivan with seating for seven passengers
- 269-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 engine
- Third-row bench can fold into the floor for added cargo room
The 2014 Kia Sedona is a budget friendly minivan that offers seating for seven and plenty of room inside for families.
Exterior styling was slightly updated on the Sedona, which now features Kia’s signature pinched-grille up front and a new bumper as well. 16-inch wheels and power side mirrors are standard, while 17-inch wheels, power sliding doors, and a power moonroof are optional. The Sedona also has very large side windows which help with visibility and safety.
Under the hood is a 269-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and offers plenty of power for all circumstances. The Sedona is front-wheel drive only, and offers an estimated 17/24 mpg city/highway. It competes with other minivans like the Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey.
Inside, the Sedona has an easy one-touch flip-and-fold second row that gives passengers easier access to the third-row bench, which seats three. The third-row splits 60/40 and can fold all the way into the floor to make a large, flat cargo area. Standard features include cruise control, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, and power windows/locks. There are also plenty of optional equipment as well, including leather upholstery, heated front seats, a navigation system, and power adjustable pedals.
The 2014 Sedona also offers plenty of safety features as well, including a helpful rear parking system as standard that helps with maneuvering the Sedona in tight spaces. Also standard are six airbags, active front head restraints, antilock brakes, and an electronic stability system.
