Kia Overview:
Just like a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, the Kia Spectra and Spectra5 have been deconstructed and rebuilt to become the all-new 2010 Kia Forte compact sedan and Forte Koup two-door coupe. The Forte comes with a host of standard safety features, and like its competitors (Honda Civic, Ford Focus and Toyota Corolla), receives excellent fuel economy. After breaking onto the scene last year, the seven-passenger crossover Borrego SUV remains unchanged for 2010. The Borrego features a 276-horsepower V-6 and a 337-horsepower V-8. The Sedona minivan is available in both short- and long-wheelbase versions. A standard 250-horsepower V-6 engine complements the ample interior and standard safety features. The stylish and roomy Rondo compact crossover includes a standard auxiliary input jack for MP3 players, and an optional 175-horsepower engine. The 2010 Sportage continues to compete in the compact SUV class with room for five, the choice of either a four-cylinder or V-6 engine and four-wheel or all-wheel drive. The midsize Optima sedan received an interior and exterior redesign last year and boasts a sporty SX trim, four-cylinder or V-6 engines and decent fuel economy. Meanwhile, the affordable subcompact Rio sedan and flexible Rio5 hatchback get a minor facelift with a revised grille and front and rear bumpers. Fans of the Amanti and Sorento will be disappointed to find out that those models have been dropped from the 2010 Kia lineup. |
