Requirements, Necessary Skills, Abilities & other Qualities

• 2-3 years working as a web developer on both front end and application layer projects (back end).
• Experience in developing PHP web applications on a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP).
• Fluent HTML and CSS.
• JavaScript experience of 3+ years (Knowledge of the DOM is a plus).
• Experience with relational databases required. Must know SQL. Experience with the MySQL database and stored procedures a plus.
• Experience with XML, PERL or other scripting languages a plus.
• Experience with template engines a plus (smarty).
• Experience in Ajax a plus.
• Experience working on projects involving online marketing with Yahoo and Google a plus.
• Must fully understand Object Oriented design principles.
• Must be hard working, self motivated with good communication skills.
