2011 Jeep Liberty Overview

With copious amounts of features and an impressive retractable roof, the 2011 Jeep Liberty SUV can free you from the daily grind.

This all-American SUV is powered by a 210-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 that is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.  The Liberty’s engine delivers a total of 235 pounds-feet of torque for enhanced acceleration.  Driving force is delivered to a two-wheel drive system, or one of two available all-wheel drive systems.  The Liberty achieves 15-16 mpg in the city and 21-22 mpg on the highway, and can tow an impressive 5,000 pounds.  The 2011 Jeep Liberty features a fuel-saving indicator that illuminates the odometer when the SUV is being driven efficiently and competes with the Suzuki Grand Vitara, Nissan Xterra, and Dodge Nitro.

Start a cargo space revolution with 64.2 cubic feet of space and better rear legroom than most competitors.  The base Sport model comes with Sirius Satellite Radio, a six-speaker stereo, and a six-disc CD changer.  The optional innovative Sky Slider™ movable canvas roof is the first of its kind in this class.  It is a mammoth retractable canvas roof that features a windscreen, one-touch opening in 18 seconds, and anti-pinch protection.  Jeep promises that the roof, although fabric, is very much leak proof.  A new Renegade trim is off-road oriented with all-terrain 16-inch tires, tow hooks, skid plates, and an enhanced four-wheel drive system.

The upscale trim in the 2011 Jeep Liberty, the Limited, includes premium cloth seat skins, leather trim to the center console, shift knob, and steering wheel, and a 368-watt Infinity sound system.  The Limited model also makes available features like heated front seats, rear parking sensors, and a navigation system.  The available Uconnect multimedia system impresses with a 30GB hard drive to store and play music, and it can also act as a Wi-Fi hotspot to which you can connect laptops and other wireless electronics.

With a strong Jeep chassis, dual front, and two-row head curtain airbags, you know you are safe inside the 2011 Jeep Liberty.  Trailer Sway Control helps to reduce trailer sway when hauling and improves handling in crosswinds or heavy traffic.  Antilock brakes with braking assist, as well as traction and stability control systems keep you in full control.

The box-like 2011 Jeep Liberty SUV can be prepped for the great outdoors and also delivers for your day-to-day commute.
