Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Jeep Compass over the Jeep Wrangler. There's no clear winner between the Jeep Wrangler and the Compass as far as transporting cargo.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Jeep Wrangler than the Jeep Compass because of its bigger tank. The Jeep Wrangler and the Compass compete for the same parking spaces. The Compass's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; however, the Wrangler may give a sprier feel in daily traffic.

Convenience
The Jeep Wrangler's fuel tank will need to be replenished somewhat more often than the unit in the Jeep Compass.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Jeep Compass is significantly cheaper to get to the dealership than the Wrangler. Producing a precise gas mileage evaluation is so tough that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Jeep Compass is the winner when it comes to fuel economy. The Jeep Compass will save you money at the pump compared to the Jeep Wrangler. As far as MSRP, the Jeep Compass costs substantially less than the Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep Compass will save you a lots_of_money at the pump every year compared to the Wrangler.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Wrangler and the Jeep Compass most certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Jeep Wrangler's engine is tremendously bigger than the Jeep Compass's. Note that more massive engines may use more gas than smaller ones. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Jeep Wrangler is considerably more powerful than the Compass. Torque equals pickup, and the Jeep Wrangler will have picked up and gone by the time the Compass finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Wrangler offers a bit more head room than the Jeep Compass, there really isn't much of a difference. The Jeep Compass provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Wrangler does.

The Jeep Wrangler and the Compass have the same basic after-sale protection.
