Jeep Compass vs. Honda CR-V Review

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Jeep Compass to the dealership as the Honda CR-V. Producing an exact fuel economy evaluation is so tough that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Jeep Compass and the Jeep Compass perform about comparably with respect to gas mileage. The CR-V won't tax your gas budget considerably more than the Jeep Compass will. With respect to MSRP, the Jeep Compass doesn't cost much less than the Honda CR-V.

Utility
Neither the Honda CR-V nor the Jeep Compass has a marked advantage as far as seating capacity. The Compass is likely a better choice than the Honda in terms of transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of luggage or dogs. Towing is substantially more the Compass's forte than it is the Honda CR-V's.

Convenience
The Jeep Compass's fuel tank will need to be replenished a little more often than the unit in the Honda CR-V.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Honda CR-V offers a bit more head room than the Jeep Compass, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The Jeep Compass provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Honda does.

Dimensions
The Jeep's tank is about the same size as the Honda's, though the Honda's is slightly bigger. The Jeep and the Honda compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Jeep Compass and the Honda CR-V most definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Warranty
The Jeep Compass and the Honda CR-V have the same basic after-sale protection.
