Jaguar adds a new model for 2014 that marks a return to the British company's sports car legacy with the new Jaguar F-Type roadster/coupe.
The F-Type is one of the most exciting new cars to debut in 2014 and with good reason: Jaguar knocked it out of the park with this one. It checks off all of the boxes of a luxury sports car; good looking? Check. Fast? Check. Luxury-grade interior? Check. And if you don’t see an F-Type coming rest assured that you will hear it as it rumbles by. It offers two supercharged engine options, a V-6 and a V-8, and a power soft top that raises or lowers in just 12 seconds.
The XF luxury sport sedan offers a trio of V-8s (two of them supercharged) and a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters, which make the XF one of the most intriguing drives in its class. For 2014, a new XFR-S model is available, with a 550-hp supercharged V-8.
The XK luxury sports coupe/convertible receives added a new Touring trim in 2013, which lowered the base price. A navigation system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and leather upholstery come standard. For those who want even more power, the XKR and limited-edition XKR-S trims take the XK’s performance to whole other level.
At the top of the Jaguar lineup is the flagship XJ full-size luxury sedan, which is also available in a long-wheelbase version (XJL) that features reclining rear seats. The cabin is full of luxurious and advanced technological features such as a navigation system with an 8-inch touch screen, heated and ventilated front seats, and a stereo with HD radio and hard drive storage. If you get tired of checking out the interior around, then check out the sky passing overhead through the panoramic glass moonroof.
